How can I get my DW to pull her credit score?

I have been after her for months. She usually pulls mid 700's (two years ago) She has a MBNA and a Discover card with probably a 60% utilization and that's it. I think both of these cards are in the 15-20% apr range. My thought is she should apply for two more (after she pulls the CR) and assuming that she gets accepted, spread the debt over 4 cards to reduce the utilization. Any ideas?

Re: How can I get my DW to pull her credit score?

It would make most sense for her to do a balance transfer and stop paying interest.

You can always say, "Hunny you should save some money on your CC interest by doing a balance xfer so you have more to shop with!" That should grab her attention :smileyvery-happy:

+1

tell her you are trying to get a gauge on your credit situation as a couple and ask her to pull it. If you have separate finances and spending money/budgets, pay the cost.

Have you asked her why she is so resistant to pulling her scores?
