Consider yourself lucky. The only offers I got when my score was in your range were for 36% APRs and $175 annual fees. I'll leave the name of the company as an exercise for the reader.
But if you're seriously wanting more offers, head to optoutprescreen.com and complete the application to opt IN for prescreened offers.
Real pre-approvals that you want to see come at the 690+ at 630's you would be lucky to get CapOne, or much worse. don't worry fingerhut and friends will be filling your mailbox by christmas.

+1. Maybe you don't qualify for any right now? With those scores, you probably won't be pre-approved for much (other than perhaps subprime lenders like FP).
LMAO about the Fingerhut and friends comment. Classic.
The average credit score is around 723. When your score goes up, there will be more pre-approvals and offers.
If "base credit" is a military thing, there's your explanation. Some places are just very generous to rebuilders. Recently, someone unable to get a secured card posted about a $4KCL from NFCU.
Really forgiving places are great for rebuilding and help with utilization but don't change how our credit is viewed by typical lenders.
drkaje, absolutely correct!!!!!!
