How do you pay your credit cards?

Two of my new cards have cut my first statement and I was wondering how to pay. I just pay my boa by my mobile app via transferring funds. But for the others.....can you call and pay with a debit card or should I add in my banking account information on their site or see if boa offers billpay for them through my online banking? I would prefer to pay via debit card because it is instant from my checking. How do you pay?

Re: How do you pay your credit cards?

depending on the card.

most likely use online banking where they do it electronically. or if they cant they mail a check on your behalf

i tried paying best buy via phone once with debit card and was denied. said contact bank.

funny thing was that i work at the bank.

and my debit was allowed 10k charges to go through (this was for 1300).

anyways gave them my account number and routing number and that went through no problem.

sometimes you can go instore (for a store card) to pay the card there.

Re: How do you pay your credit cards?

I prefer to put my bank account info into the CC site and pay from the CC site.

That way payments are counted the same day!

Re: How do you pay your credit cards?

I have every bill added to my online banking account. then I just click who I want to pay and when I want them to be paid. It comes out the day scheduled and is credited to my card that same day, which is nice Smiley Happy

Re: How do you pay your credit cards?

I push it from my bank's bill pay system to the company.  I bank with Schwab so it's effortless.  AMEX and Discover will send me the bill through Schwabs system as well.  Payments get there on the date I schedule.

Re: How do you pay your credit cards?

I go to each credit card account and hit pay credit card and I have my chase checking account listed for all my cards. The bill is paid instantly. Then I am satisfied until I check my bank account and see I am broke until another check comes around and we start all over again.
