It's worth a shot if your scores and profile support it.
Yes discover pulled EQ when i apped as well. so they then to double pull i think if you are borderline.
so if experian good. i say go for it too.
also. when i mentioned about ck. mine is50 points higher than my fico.
i only know why now.
762 ck because ck does not factor paid collections.
712 tu fico. fico factors any collection. paid or not.
i have 1 paid collection 4years old.

@Anonymous wrote:Oops, I missed that. I saw that now in the opening post. Yeah I'd check my TU fico before apping. Last week I paid down some balances I had and my TU fico went up 14 points total and my credit karma went up like 34 points, blowing right by my fico score. For the last month before that my they were fairly close but now the CK score is about 20 points higher. Like you said, could go either way.
They tend to pull EQ in my experience.
I know it's confusing considering they provide a TU FICO.
Yeah, sorry. I was talking about Barclay from some earlier posts in the thread. I got mixed in the Discover posts you guys got going 'cause I left and just got back in the discussion. Can't comment on Discover. I don't have one.

Barclays pulls TU almost exclusively from what i've seen.

I know. But I think Nixon thought I was talking about Discover so I was just letting him know I wasn't. If you go to "credit pulls" you can get an idea of who pulls what in your state and wether they're getting approvals around your score range.
