Hi gang, Appd for the BankAmericard Sunday night and was approved for $2.5k over the phone Monday morning. They're transferring $1300 from Chase - did it take very long for your BTs to post? I'm hoping it hits before my Chase statement cuts (and promo APR ends) on January 27th. This card will be my big purchase card since it has 15 months at 0% and low APR after that. Freedom and Discover More will still be for everyday stuff that I can PIF. PS card has yet to arrive - expecting that Tuesday. It's been a nice winter of approvals Thanks!
The few BT's I've done with BoA only took 2-3 business days but that was for an established account. I'm not sure if a BT from a new account might be delayed a bit longer. Perhaps someone else has exact knowledge of this.
Edited because I can't type.
From a BK years ago to:
EX - 3/11 pulled by lender- 835, EQ - 2/11-816, TU - 2/11-782

first of all i apologize for not being able to answer your question because i have never done a BT with BoA. i dont even have a BoA credit card.
BUT, if this info may help: i did a balance transfer from a closed amex account to my usaa credit card and that took 2-3 days too (like above poster, MarineVietVet.) transfer was requested on monday and was complete by wednesday.
i hope this helps put your mind at ease and good luck with the transfer. please let us know how long it takes.....i will be shifting some balances around this month too LOL and want to get an idea of how other banks operate.
again, good luck!!
Mine took about two business days. They were very quick about it.
Got ahold of BoA today. They said it'll be sent Jan 23rd. Guess they take their time with new accounts.
