How hard is it to get Chase Freedom approval?

I'm considering applying but want to have an idea of what they are looking for in terms of scores.  My EQ is 688.  My lowest score, can't remember if its TU or EX is in the 670's.  My oldest cc account is 1 year 2 months.  What are my chances of being approved for this card?  Is there a better option for me, given my scores.  I already have a Discover More and Capital One Platinum.  My current utilization is around 29%.  Thanks!

Re: How hard is it to get Chase Freedom approval?

Keep your Utilization low (like 1-2% max) or PIF. Make sure all your other cards are reported with 0 balance. Make sure your history is good with other cards. And lastly, make sure your scores are 680+ (it helps your chances more). And sak, you have a lucky co-worker. I'd love to have it as my first card, but I'm waiting a few more months (the wait is making me impatient...must...resist.....applying...for...cards..)

Bank of America: Cash Rewards.-1,000. 4/25/12 (CLI Increase 6/15/13), Citi: Forward- 3k. 10/27/12 (CLI on 2/8/14, SP). Discover: More- 2k. 10/27/12 (Increase 6/1/14). Amex: PRG- NPSL (closed 12/13/13). 11/24/12. Chase: Freedom. 5/1/13- 2.4k. Southwest Rapid Rewards Plus.-3.6k. 6/15/13. Amex BCE-2k. 12/7/13. Amex SPG-4k.12/8/13. Last App: 1/8/14.

This is what i found as well. They have no problem giving it out with sub 600's but they give awfully low limits at times
