No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I have 2 chase cards that are over 30k each. An Amex at 15k, and Ameriprise at 15k also. DCU is great. Lower aprs than other banks. Income is over 130k. They did ask for income stubs though. I hardly use the card. I got the one with no rewards...
I was at $10K for a while before the CLI bug hit me over the 2-3 months. I was given the full $20k I requested during a 5 minute call. No pay stubs etc but that is because they are my primary bank with direct deposits set up over the last few years. Score was 802 at the time of call.
Wife had to provide pay stubs when she called a few months ago.
I'd like to hear some more feedback on the pay-stubs part. Does anyone know if there's a specific criteria for pay-stubs (lower income, no checking/savings account with them etc)?

That is a good question. I wonder if DFCU gives hefty CLI's compared to other CU"s? I would like to double or maybe tripple my CL in the next 3 months. I also wonder if CLI's require a hard pull?
I was not asked for paystubs on a $10,000 limit.

I'm starting to think that credit union cards are far superior to that of Bank credit cards in terms of superior customer service and benefits and rewards equal to bank cards, and lower interest rates. I use to think very highly of American Express but I now see their services as inferior because many of their phone reps are in foreign countries(frustrating) and they monitor(softing) their customers as if the account might go into default at any moment. In the past I did not see the value in having a credit union card but I am now a convert.
just a little heads up...if you dont got checking with them then the only way to pay your credit card it thru your banks bill pay or western union

Excellent heads up.I went after saving & checking. I like that DFCU is more considerate in evaluating credit reports that have a few dings on them.I have one remaining ding on my report and they were kind enough to weigh it proportionally. They seem like a very good company. A family member is about to get a job with NFCU and I might go after a membership with them in march.
