How high should i go?

Im due to get a CLI on my walmart discover in two months. My credit limit is $1000 right now. I use my card heavy every month and PIF. I want to ask for a 5K limit do u think thats too much of a jump of 1K?

Nope shoot for the stars with GE!! They will counteroffer if they cant do the 5K.

After reading various posts on here regarding Walmart/GE CLIs, I don't think asking for an increase to $5K is too much.  But why wait for 2 more months?  Unless your last CLI request was very recent, I would call their backdoor number (877-379-8173) tonight and ask.  Good luck!!!  :smileyhappy:

I wish I knew the answer to that, LS.  Sorry to say that I don't know.  Walmart is the only GE product that I have currently.  I kind of think it might be for all GE accounts as I think they answered saying GE Credit Solutions when I called.

Im thinking aboit trying it for my walmart card but im only 14 days away feom 4th month CLI spree with my ge accounts and may hurt that chance
