A few days ago, I got a $1000 SP CLI from Citi. This morning, I noticed the SP screen is back. Filled in my info, got denied. But if I go back to the request CLI link, it's still the soft pull screen. So how long do I need to wait before I try again?
Sorry to jump in/hijack, but two side questions:
1) How do you do a SP CLI? Is it the same link in Account Management>Balance Transfers, Lines, & Loans>Request a Credit Line Increase?
2) Is it confirmed that this method is a SP and not a HP?

It's going to be an SP if it says: It's easy to find out if you qualify for a credit limit increase. A credit bureau report will not be requested and you will receive an instant decision.
So far for me they've always either offered me a CLI or declined straight off the bat (too recent CLI, or some time ago, not good enough scores) but no HP.
It's not guaranteed, check the language on your profile. Apparently it could differ between cards and definitely between users.
Thanks. I took a look when I click the link I mentioned and it has that verbiage. Nice!
Every 6 months online, but a couple years ago I would call and get increases with soft oulls over the phone every 3 months, until one time it ended up being a hard pull, and i stoppe doing that.
Is this reccomendation per card or per account/SSN?
Every 6 months per each card
