How long does it take for Marriott card to arrive?

I was approved for the Marriott Rewards Premier card on 8/29 and the card still hasn't even shipped yet. Is this typical for Marriott card? Every other card from Chase has taken 1-2 days to get to me.

They could be backlogged because of the increase in the bonus (80K points). When I had mine, I got it fairly quickly, 2-3 days if I remember correctly.

It's longer than all the other Chase cards because it has to get your Marriott rewards number on it too. It may also depend on whether you had a Marriott number or if they had to create it as well.

RC - Applied/Approved 6/27 and received 7/6 (had Marriott number)

Hyatt - Applied 6/28, reconned for approval 6/29, received 7/1

Sounds right, however early next week is short with the holiday. So before the end of the week for sure I'd bet.

It's a metal card, so the manufacturing process is probably more involved. When I got mine in late December, some effect from the holidays, but it was something like a week-10 days to arrive, and I had a Marriott Rewards account already setup at application.

once the card shows up in your chase account you should have it within a few days. you can ask chase to expedite it once your card # has been generated, but you'll have to contact them by about 3pm the day your number is generated.
