NFCU is not inquiry sensitive and you have a good chance at a high limit with that score.

If that's the case, then the OP might as well do it now. After 20 inqs, one more won't make that much difference to the score, and then they'll all age of together after two years. But after submitting the app -- garden!!!
do you know what your current eq fico looks like? thats more than likely what they will pull for a cc.

Thank you very much, I will go for a NFCU card... then garden for a few months until I am ready to ask them all for CLIs (or ready to try again for a NFCU if denied)
Let us know the result, btw they can be reached by phone 24 hours so you can apply right now And don't worry if you go into review, a lot of their apps do.

Wow, 24 hrs? I just might need to move my primary checking to them.
Applied for CashRewards Visa. Approved. 15.5% interest. $7,500 limit. Card will arrive in 7-10 days. Tempted to close the Capitol One Secured MasterCard before I even get the card in the mail. I put $700 on deposit that would be nice to do something else with other than pay an annual fee to keep.
Huh, that was too easy. I should have applied for that first and I wouldn't have applied for anything else. lol.

While I was at it, I asked for another $7500 line of credit. They told me wait 24 hours and call back to see if I was approved after loan officer review.
You don't need to apply for any new credit/CLI's anytime soon. Wait for the dust to settle and the INQs to drop off and hope that none of your current or new approved CCs decide to AA you because of the new INQs. GE likes to peak at your CR often so I would be worried about your Walmart card.
