I recently paid down almost all of my debt, and I was wondering, how long does it *typically* take to see a change on your credit report? I imagine a few months, but I just wanted to be sure so I can stop checking my reports and scores like a fanatic. I may be mildly addicted to my credit since actively viewing this site. Oh well, at least it's a positive addiction...kinda. 
+1, it definitely won't take months to update. They should be updated by this time next month.
My Experian report updated today and my debt went down 1 percentage! Slowly but surely

Each account will generally update several days after the statement closes. Generally, this update can be seen instanty on Experian, within several days on Equifax, within 1-2 weeks on TransUnion, or within a month on Innovis if your creditor uses them.
In other words, if you make a payment on the first day of your new billing cycle, it could take over a month to see it on your reports.
