Yes, in fact links to CB are not allowed as that site (along with tons of useful info and the credit pull db) has sections promoting techniques such as b*.  You have to remember this siteis owned by Fico, who have an interest in maintaining the integrity of their key product.  b* and such damage the value...

Regarding the 'forum that remains nameless' myFICO differs from other credit forums because myFICO's Credit Repair Discussion Guidelines, Terms of Service and User Guidelines prohibit the promotion of certain types of credit repair ie b* is a big no-no.

These rules are in place because myFICO provides credit reports. By providing credit reports, myFICO must abide by the (CROA) Credit Repair Organizations Act and part of that law prohibits myFICO from offering illegal or unethical credit repair advice, or appear as a credit repair organization.

Could someone tell me what "b*" means? I've never heard that term before, and I can't think of a term that starts with "b" involving credit.

I think Lexie and longtimelurker have made it clear that "the thing that shall not be named" must no be discussed here. However, I think a Google search may yield results for those people who may need to research those "unmentionable" acts for academic and theoretical purposes.

+1.  I Googled, too.  Seems like you'd be better off using the money spent to pay down your balances and boost your UTIL (which is a much bigger factor in the scores, anyway).
