I bet you get $10k limit....and if not, just call them to recon the limit..they are very good about that.
Okay, I will give it a shot. Bet I get declined...haha
No instant approval.
My highest limit prior to my Cash Rewards card was $4000 on my Wells Fargo Rewards card, so they more than doubled my highest limit.
Mine wasnt instant either. I applied around 11 last night, then got the text message at 5 this morning.
Most of the time it is not instant because they will do manual reviews.
I thought they just like to build suspense. I was thinking WTH I finally found a way to get into NFCU and I am going to get declined with my master piece credit report lol

I didn't know that. I would have put details in the message box. Maybe they will call me.
It took until the next business day for them to contact me to advise I was approved on my first card. And get this, they approved it for a $1k limit. I was so bummed out.
I called them up and explained that I appreciated them giving me the card, and told them how I had just set up the direct deposit and wanted to make them my primary financial institution.
They requested my last two pay stubs, which I emailed to them. They wrote me back and increased my limit to $10k.
3 weeks later I applied for the Flagship signature and they approved me for $5k. 1 month later I applied online for a CLI and was approved for $10k.
I LOVE NFCU!!!!!
Im pleased so far. All I have is $45 in my savings. I had read that a few other posters had to take verification into a branch, so i was worried that they would ask me to show it with the account being so new and I didnt want to drive more than an hour to do so. This was the first card I have apped for with a clean report, and I must say I am more than happy with my starting limit with them. I will give it a month or two before asking for an increase, especially if verification can be e-mailed lol
