I carry my debit card and 1 credit card from my credit union with $0 balance and a $7,600 limit to cover any emergencies. The other cards remain at home.

2 credit cards, 1 business credit card, 1 debit card, and of course... my library card! Don't leave home without it.
The other 3 CCs sit at home. I use them for online purchases.

All of them, but probably about time to SD the Delta card. Not much point in using it unless I'm taking a flight that day since all MR points can be transferred to Skymiles anyway.

Just my Amex green in which I try to do all my spending and my Chase slate as a backup for when amex is not accepted. Oh and my debit card which never gets used.

I've been contemplating this as well, although the choices available to me are fairly limited. I'd be looking for another travel card with an AF of $100 or less. I don't need another comprehensive card like my United Club or JPM Ritz. Any ideas? If I can't find anything better than I may just leave BofA open, but I just dread having to call them for anything. They've been a huge hassle to deal with this Christmas. I can't even begin to count how many times they've screwed up.
I currently carry all of the ones listed in my signature, but I may be closing my BofA card soon. I simply don't use it, and dealing with BofA is painful when compared to Chase or JPM.
I would recommend leaving open something other than a Chase card. If something happened between you and Chase, you would be without a card. I think it would be a good idea to have a couple other cards from different issuers just in case.

I currently carry:
In the actual slots:
Capital One Platinum Secured MasterCard
Capital One Platinum fka Household Bank MasterCard
First Savings MasterCard
AMEX Business Rewards Gold that my company gave me (They had me carry a SimplyCash Business card before but they swapped me to this one recently)
Bank of America Human Rights Campaign Visa Debit
My wallet has a couple pockets behind the slots, so I stash a couple cards in those too, usually ones I don't use often.
There I have:
Express NEXT Credit Card, usually with a coupon folded around it
CreditOne "Platinum" Visa
