With all due respect, I don't believe that for a second.
I think have about 48K in available credit
Dont really care one way or another...My util is under 1% lol
income is 58k. household is alot more.
I plan to apply for 4-5 cards in April and 4-5 cards in Dec 2013.
Goal is to obtain more credit, sign up bonus and Better Rewards.
By then end of this year I should be at 60k. (just need 45k more)
it should be easy since I plan to go after Amex, NFCU, DCU and other genrous creditors.
I currently have Discover More, Chase Freedom, Barclays Rewards, Wells Fargo
(all obtained in last 12 months).
Hehe so think I am full of it
I moved to the US Dec 2011 and got my first credit through Comerica-- credit card (unsecure) in end of Dec 2011 - was like the 27th or something. Was for 2K- my boss knew the manager and all business was done in that same branch. I was a added as an AU to a 39500 City AA city card from 2003 in March 2012, card was thrown away as only for AU purposes.. Also added my self to an Amex as AU same month, this card was kept and used. This card had 22K credit. In August my credit score was 750 ish (fico) and I got a Chase Saphire (did the spend, don't use it that much) 6K approval ( as I had close to 17K in utilization- an issue with AU as share the credit). Applied for a Amex SPG got 20K, increased now to 30K, Comerica is now at 8 after CLI as well
City 39500
Chase 6000
Comerica 8000
Amex ( AU) 22000
Amex 30000
2car loans (Honda accord and civic 2010 models for 43K)
Salary is 130. You are right on one thing, I did not have as much as I thought as I calculated in the Auto - so will CLI with Chase and get a few more cards for Jan
