How much is 50,000 amex gold premier points worth?

Got approved just now. I dont travel. At all. Ever.

So how much statement credit is 50,000 points? Or if its better, any publix or kroger gift cards available, or aldi? If none of those, i guess walmart.

Can i see the redemption options before ive received my card or have the points? Although it really doesnt matter, i only want publix kroger or aldi gift cards or a statement credit.

I realize i would get more to travel, but im one of those that wouldmt go on a trip even if someone paid me!!!

Still, 50,000 points should get me some nice gift cards or statement credits?

Points are worth about .6 cent each towards statement credits so about 300 bucks. Travel is the best options as far as redemption value. I dont fly much so I ended up getting $250 worth of gift cards for 25k points.
