Re: How offen should I use my credit cards to keep them active.

I keep most of mine alive by having a small recurring payment post on each. With that and AutoPay, I can SD without having to worry about inactivity or late payments.

I'm rotating my cards and buying cryptocurrency.

Amazon Prime I can't buy crypto but I have it set to autopay the prime service.

I also have a Walmart store card and use it to buy pizza rolls every month.

Playing it safe.

Does paying the entire credit balance help or hinder in keeping a card active?

Re: How offen should I use my credit cards to keep them active.

My past experience with Midland Funding over a delinquency has made me have more restraint about using any credit cards because I don't want to get in that situration again.

I'm not really worried about the Wal-Mart or Amazon cards. It's the Newegg card that has me worried. The only reason I appled for it to start with was to buy a new computer when my current one dies.  I'm just worried  that the Newegg card would be closed when the time comes to buy a new computer.

Once a year should be fine.

My buddy went 6 years with no activity on his Capital One and it was still open lol!
