My TU fico is 686, once I am notified of an increase, should this score be available to lenders that do a SP CLI? I hit the luv button for Walmart/Amazon a few days after it went up and got a letter of denial today showing collections that fell off a couple weeks ago, and the score was a few weeks old?
Good Question.
For those who give you your credit score, like Walmart, I believe they use the last score/SP report available. They don't pull a new one the moment you request the CLI.

So its safe to say that when you request a SP CLI from a lender, it could be a score thats 3 weeks old? Amazon for instance doesn't give you free monthly credit scores like Walmart, although its the same bank so im sure they use the same one if you have both cards like I do.
Not sure.
I thought they just softed you every time you get your WM TU FICO.
Which you can refresh much as you like by unenrolling and re-enrolling.
I don't think lenders even get score when they sp. they get report only.

This varies from bank to bank and is not a standard.
US Bank used an SP that was 30 days old.
Discover clearly stated that they may not use the same score (also report probably) that they're showing me.
I couldn't help but to put my 2cents in I had a soft pull from capital one the sent me the 7-10 days letter well wouldn't you know I couldn't get my CLI because there soft pull was date back in July it provided me wit the score at that time they advise me my score was to low(548) and I should try in 6 months I had about 6 baddies but recently they have been removed. They do have a credit score based on my experience. I'm afraid to dispute there decision because I can't afford a HP I'm waiting on my mortgage to get approved so I can wait.
For what it's worth did a Luv Button press last week on my Wal Mart card they denied the CLI the score they used was from 8/28/2014 I have had 2 updated Fico scores from them after that date so yeah they seem to use old ones sometimes.
Did a CLI request as well on my Walmart Card and was denied on 10/19/14. Letter I recieved stated they used the score from my report dated 9/11/2014.
