I'm not going to go along with the same train of thought as the others on this one. I'm jumping on it head first!!!!! Pay them off!!!! lol

I think you'll reap benefits from it in several different ways, from huge score jumps to CLI's!.

I think the likelihood of a CLD is far higher if you do NOT pay them off completely and stagger the repayments over a few months. Showing you have the ability to PIF on most of the lines will land you in a positive light with the creditors, and your score will jump dramatically. When I paid down from a similar usage of 95% to 1% my score jumped over 100 points which felt great.
