Thanks for that information P! I will be calling Chase (Backdoor #) tomorrow to see if I can vouch for more, and see if they can use the recent hard pull to do a manual review on the account! If they say no I won't fight, I will just play the waiting game, and go back in my cave! As for the PC information thanks for that, I just read your Cap1 story, and am looking forward to going the PC route, so when I get a call (hopefully soon) I shall ask if I can PC to the green card, with a higher limit! (Hopefully 5k, will ask them if they can match my chase limit) If it is possible with a lower limit, I shall take that offer, as being able to PC will be a better option b/c I can just wait 6months to a year to get the CLI to where I want on the green card and keep the credit history, rather then sticking with the Journey card and not getting any CLI as I just found out it is a starter card to help build credit up, so no matter how high my credit score is, it will only increase a little, and I believe it has a maximum limit that it can be increased to! (Sad face) but even though it has such a small limit, it has helped me get to where I'm at now, and I have tor respect that! (Only reason I will never close it). But I shall keep everyone posted on how everything plays out in the next week or so!

Ah, I didn't know the Journey was a rebuilder card. My C1 Platipus Rebuilder had a hard limit that it couldn't pass as well. In that case I agree, definitely ask for a PC to the Green Cash card.
when you get a PC does that reset the account date? My oldest card is an Orchard Bank card and don't want to lose my account time. Does it always require a HP?
Just got the call from Cap1 EO saying they had been forwarded my e-mail. After a discussion on what I was looking for, the analyst offered to add 1% cash back to my card and put in the CLI request (I requested $5K). The analyst said he would get back to me with the result on Monday or Tuesday. Surprised at the quick callback, and, while not impressed with the benefits I was offered, hoping the CLI will go through! Thanks for the guide, it seems to be working as advertised!
Checked my account this morning and they increased my CL from $750 to $2,500. I had asked for an increase to $5,000, but better than nothing I guess...
Nice! Congrats.
I think I might be the first person that got the phone call and was told I'd have an answer in 2 to 10 days, and here it is the 8th or 9th day and nothing... no answer, although no denial yet. LOL
Errrrgh.
Well congrats!
It's been over 10 days since I got the EO phone call and I've heard nothing further (no CLI and no denial) and no change when I check online. Someone dropped the ball. The guy on the phone did sound really tired. lol I guess I'll wait a few more days, go back a step and re-email.
