No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
I would not take cash advances on any cards.... however if you know someone you can really trust... you can add your credit card to PayPal and then send money to the other individual under repayment, loan, you can say whatever you want... This will be charged to your credit card as a purchase and you will receive no fees from your credit card or high interest rates. You will take the 2.9% fee to withdraw the cash from paypal and then it will take about 3 days for the money to transfer to the checking account of the other person and then withdraw and put in your account.

What that suppose to mean? I'm curious!
I think you pegged it in your earlier post, just above!
Ha! April fool!!

Happy April Fools! Have a great weekend everyone!
I knew it was a joke! It was hard for me to believe a long-time moderator was in that type of situation. But I didn't want to pass judgment since we're all humans and things happen.
llecs, I have to admit that you got me!
It wasn't until Lel pointed out the many worthwhile benefits of a payday loan that my little light bulb finally flickered on.
You can send me the paypal payment. I'll keep 70% and give you 30%. It is still a better deal than the payday loan.
@mross1080 wrote:The way I know will work and have done it before. If you have a paypal card with a debit linked to it you can send money to yourself and withdraw it from the debit, You actually need 2 paypal accounts to do it right. If you have a spouse with one or you can make one personal and one business and do it yourself. You have to pay 2% transaction fee but it wont show as a cash advance on any card you do it with. I was in a pinch a long while back and used this way several times. Also if you have your bank account linked you can just transfer it straight to there but that takes a couple days
Do Not Use PayPal, they will block your account. That kind of transaction is a flag.
You will need to send many documents, and answer many question.

@llecs wrote:Combined with a new mortgage last month and a cut in pay due to some loss in business, I've been getting cash advances on some of my CCs so I can use those funds to cover minimum payments to temporarily get by. Unfortunately, I'm down to just a couple of options and one is to get a cash advance on my Amex Green. Is that possible and how do I do that? I have a First Premier payment due on Sunday and could use an extra $25. I tried at the bank, but they said "No".
How about a payday loan? I hear that their interest rates are quite reasonable. You may want to take out a very large payday loan and keep the extra cash on hand for these sort of contingencies in the future.
Please tell me that this was sarcasm!
I think their payday loan suggestion is serious as a heart attack!!
I'll behave.....starting tomorrow!
I wouldn't request a cash advance on Amex unless you're prepared to have your card frozen for a FR.
