Get a capital one secured card. You may qualify for a partial deposit.

Your options are pretty much:

1. Go for secured with your current credit.

2. Address your credit issues and then try and go for unsecured once your credit improves.

That said, you could do both.  You just need to determine where your priorities lie and take appropriate action.  Don't overlook the Rebuilding subforum.

Go to the capital one website and see if you prequalify. Also credit one has a way to prequalify. If you do not prequalify, get a capital one secured card stay away from first premier bank because it's cheaper to get a secured card.

U could always open a fingerhut account t and purchase something reasonable in price and pay it off and they will report to the CB which will raise ur score.
