How to get credit card companies to update out standing balances

All of my CC's have been paid over 2 months or more. They still show balances owed on my Credit Karma report. I know I should show under 10% ult but I'm looking for some credit limit increases coming up soon. How long to update ?

I wouldn't fully trust what CMS show that are not from lenders or reports from the CRAs themselves.

I think it means credit monitoring service. I am still learning the terminology.

If you haven't been using the cards, banks are notoriously bad about updating the tradeline.  Not sure why, but the automation fails pretty much universally across lenders according to reports on the forums.

General ways of fixing it, buy something and let it report, or maybe try something like an address update (just change it to the same address, or use #3 instead of Apt 3 in my case, something akin to that) which with some lenders will update the tradeline.

In general I don't advocate, nor do I leave any credit card idle, ever, and I haven't encountered this problem with cards yet.  I have with one of my installment loans though, not that it matters nearly as much.

USAA and the Experian Credit Check Monitoring Service they offer reports just fine. I paid off  one card at the end of last month, several more at the beginning of this month. Although several have not reported yet, it is only because the statements haven't generated. In my experience so far, within three or four days of the statement,  all three bureaus were reporting zero balances on every account.

I have never had a problem with a zero balance being reported on USAA's Experian Credit Check Monitoring Service, not even a delay.

CreditKarma feeds from TransUnion, which is notoriously slow to update. When I notice my accounts haven't reported in the last two months, I just dispute them and they get corrected pretty quickly.
