How can you keep a high credit card limit when you don't use it much? I'm worried that these big banks will try to slash my limits because I don't use them. Does putting high charges on my accounts deter banks from wanting to slash my limits? (i.e. 3000 - 4000 charges)?
I have an auto loan that I'm ahead on 4 months, should I start taking cash advances like 1000 just to make a charge?

Definitely don't take any cash advances. That will cause the creditor to look more closely.
Just use your card occasionally. And pay the bill when it is due. If you don't declare bankruptcy, start maxing out all of your cards, or stop paying your bills on time, etc, then there should be little reason for the creditor to start taking AA.
Just charge something small on a card every month or so. Putting a monthly charge on it like Netflix would be a good option.

+1. Small charges prevent most lenders from doing CLD.
Thanks for the responses guys!
