We got today our Power rewards Platinum and I try to setup automatic payment. Payment shoukd be made from our Capital One checking. 

Customer Service send me to http://www.myeasypayment.com/

Nice, after I the login I get

 

Please review your account information and choose a payment option.

Choose one of the payment options below.

Your Account Number:

 

Name:

XXX YYY

Your account has a zero balance. If you would like to make a payment, please call 1.800.887.5749

Nice, but how can I setup the account I want to pay from, there is nothing where I can setup anything

Heh I didn't do mine through there.

I went to BoA normal credit card site (where you can view your statement)

Select the Bill Pay tab on the top row (if not already selected)

Select Payment Accounts on the second row

and then add the account details that you want to pay from.  Once this is done

Select Automatic Payments on the second row (the last option)

Select Add Edit View next to your cc account

Change the selection to Make Automatic Payments

Choose the account that you just set up as the from account

Choose how much you want to pay and when

Click the email verification

Click on continue and confirm

I tried this but there is a message

For this Pay To account, you can only pay using REGULAR CHECKING-XXX

To sad that we applied for it before we switched to Capital One

It won't let you add another account on the payment accounts tab?

Or delete that checking account and then add a new one?

That's really weird.  If you go to the customer service page on the logged in site it says

Pay now - lets you pay your card from another financial institution

And the pay now is a link that takes you to that page I sent you to (after you click on add payment account on the first page you get to).  You may want to call them and ask about it.

Thank you, now it starts working. No idea, maybe the had error with their system.

Maybe!

At least it's working now though  

P.s. I did have to change my DHs from the day it was due to the as soon as possible option cause there were days when I would have to go in and manually pay it or it wasn't going to go through in time to not make me late
