How to tell if you spend in 5% cash+ category?

Any way to tell easily? It shows the total 5% and 2% category rewards but is there anyway to tell if a single purchase falls under a category? Would like to know if my favorite restaurants are coded as fast food...

Assuming this is CAsh +!    Yes, go to My Rewards, then Reward History, and it will show you the reward per transaction.   Have to wait for the statement to close I think.

ETA: Have to take that back, it doesn't!  I think it used to, but now you have to look at the bonus total to see and that doesn't really help.

The other way is to download the transactions, and you get to see the MCC

Download the transaction list to get the MCC code assigned. You of corse need the MCC names listing, but if you dig into the Cash+ Sign Up info, the More Info about each category should state which MCC applies to each category.

You still will probably have to create a spreadsheet of all the transactions to try to reverse-engineer the calculations.
