OK.So I called the number on the back of the card,asking if they can waive

AF. They said no, and I closed the card.Screw you Cap1!

Glad you closed the card instead of choosing the EO route. Contacting the EO to remove an annual fee is just abuse of the system regardless how long you have had the card. If it originally came with a AF you accepted the terms and should stick by them. If not, close the card.
