A set APR as opposed to a range. Plus sometimes the terms differ, like 9 months 0% APR when the standard offer is 21 months. At least that's my best guess.
Does it have the OPT out notice?
Prequalified offers have one specific APR listed and have a notice that says you can opt out of pre-selected offers. Generic marketing has an APR range (13-25%, for example) and no opt-out notice.

My has 0% intro on balacen transfers and purchases for 12 moths and 21.24 % so i guess you are saying this is a real pre selected. Even though i will wait unti june because will pay 20% of my balance
It must have all the info listed by the 3 posters above
An offer
Set APR
OPT out notice
Does yours cover all 3 areas?
If so its good
If not its marketing YMMV

On their website, the TY Preferred has 15 months rather than 12 and the range is 13.24-23.24%. So while yours is a real pre-selected, you'll likely get better with a better profile. (Honestly other than really low interest cards, I could care less about the APR but I'd hold out for the 15 months if possible, if it were me.
