How will CC report this?

ok heres the deal. Ive been paying my cc bill before its due. So as of right now my current bill says bill due 3/2/11 amount $0. But  i've been using the card the past few days and have charged about $250. My CC company reports on the 8th every month. So what i'm asking is will they report my balance as $0 since there is no money due or report my current charges amount? Trying to figure out if i should pay it of tonight or if im ok to wait . Thanks for any help.

Re: How will CC report this?

It willl report whatever balance on the card at the time of closing.  If it's $250 that's what they're going to report.  When you're not wanting a balance to report do not make any new charges until after the statement generates.

Re: How will CC report this?

Who is the CCC? If it reports on the 8th, when is the statement date? Most of the CCs will report the balance you had on the statement date. If you already used the CC, then chances are you already have charges posting. If you want $0 to report, you'll have to pay those charges and have that payment post by the statement date.

ETA...Slow typer here.

Re: How will CC report this?

The way I am reading this, he already has his bill/statement which shows a balance of $0, so unless they are a CCC company that reports different from the norm, they are going to report his $0 statement balance regardless of the $250 he has charged since his statement generated.  No?

Re: How will CC report this?

yes its like Walt says. The statement says payment due 3/2/11 amount due $0. I payed the payment 3 weeks before it was due. So since ive paid the bill ive made purchases of about $250. That is my current balance with no balance due. Next payment date will be 4/2/11.
