Dispute mistakes on your credit Report?
Start a paper trail and document all calls. Get the names of all you speak with. File a complaint with the BBB too. BBB can provide a paper trail and be your witness on paper. I successfully sued, but settled, with GEMB/JCPenney by keeping good notes. I stayed on them hard!
I was working at a news station during my spat with JCPenney. I let it be known media wise what I was capable of doing in my final letter. GE's attorney called next day.
Would disputing the item with CRB AND LETTING THEM INVESTIGATE be a good route to go? MODS???
I did this once with TU and after looking into it they removed the item.

ok hauling. sometimes the posts cross and I don't see yours until I've posted mine.
It did seem to me that they talked to both parties and then made a decision in my favor which of course made me happy.

It shows me as a AU. So shouldnt that be pretty easy to get off?
It should be very easy. All they have to do is talk to you and allow you to remove yourself. Since you do not own/control the account, however, they may not want to talk to you. Hence the need to write them a letter.
