App'd right away.
$3300 CL, 739 Experian FICO, 17.99% APR.
Damn. And I JUST got excited that I got my Cap1 Forward (1.25% CB) upgraded to a QS >.< (1.5% CB)... but hey no HPs were needed for that.
So nice that this card will be "cash" and not those TERRIBLE TY points. This card will basically replace any card I'm currently using for 2% or less back.
EDIT: Looking at Citi's list of CCs... looks like they have discontinued their Dividend Platinum Select cards (boring 5% rotating category card).
I am still not thrilled about the high apr people are getting with this card. with 720 card you are "supposed" to get prime rates . i don't know about most people, but 17.99 apr isn't anywhere close to prime rates. I don't care if you pif apr shouldn't matter. Its the fact apr and initial cl are low for people who are well north of the 720 range.

The card isn't touted as a low-APR card. 12.99% is the lowest APR Citi gives on several of their cards (only 1 other card having 11.99%).
I love lots of INQs (4-7+?) and only got into the credit game around 2011. Most of my cards are much newer than that.
720 really is pretty low IMO, I think 17.99% is inline for the score I got. If I was 760+ score I'd hope to get prime rates.
If you really want a large CL, get a no-thrills card from a credit union. If you want low-apr, again, either go with a CU or get the Barclaycard Ring or something. I want 2% CB back! I always PIF so the APR doesn't matter. Even then, at least there's a 0% 15mo promo on this new card.

I guess its poor comparison but i want something similar to rates i have for my cap one qs since that is what this card is directly competing with, and the CL and APR aren't competitive at all.

Contact Citi if they can lower the APR for you?

I haven't apped for this card, but i am just basing this on people who have apped for this card with scores in mid 700s and are getting less than optimal rates.

Now if there was no FTF on this card, I would call shenanigans
I may just get this Citi Double Cash Card when the new iphone comes out in September. Barclay's Apple Store Card offers 12 months 0% APR but with Citi Double Cash i'll get 15 months 0% APR + 2% cash back from my iphone. not sure about the U.S. Bank Cash+ but i see you can choose your own 2 catergories and i see a 5% electronic catergory. I'll go to another forum and talk about that but this Citi Double Cash Card looks promising
Does anyone know how the redemption will work for this card?
For example, once the $25 cash back threshold is met, can I set it up to automatically redeem for a statement credit?
Or will all redemptions have to be done manually?
I got double pulled EX & EQ. EQ FAKO (which has been consistently the same score as SW since upgrade) dropped 8pts. EX has always been my lowest score. I haven't checked it in a while but I'm prob 670-680 range. EQ was 742.

For me personally if i were to buy something like an iphone i would use an amex card to get extended warranty.
