Your scores will dip though with balances reporting on most cards.

I guess I'm done apping for awhile. Just got denied for the Chase Freedom for the second time.

 

Too many inquiries, too many new accounts, and an old collection account that's due to fall off in June.

 

So I'll wait for 6 months to let my accounts and inquiries age, and let the derogatory fall off, and then I should be well above 700; at which point, I'll apply for the best cards around.

That's why I don't  come on here very often.  I start reading about people applying, get approved...I just gotta apply too.
