I applied over the phone and talked directly with a credit specialist at BOA (who was very pleasant and helpful by the way). She pulled my current report with Experian while I was on the phone. She said it looked ok and approved me for an initial limit of 2500 dollars (my highest limit card to date) with a variable APR of 5% . I am very pleased. Very pleased. I think I might have enough credit for the time being. Whenever I applied directly to BOA's website during this past year, all I was approved for was the secured card and the debit card.
