I cant believe this! boa closed my card???

Yesterday, I paid my credit in full through a balance transfer which I never do but had a 0 percent thing and just wanted to transfer it so I can pay it later this month. I logged into boa today and my account is closed???? what should I do? I did open a chase, amex and new barclay card last month.

I have an excellent payment history with boa and cant believe they did this?

How did that impact utilization on the card you transferred to?

They probably viewed all of these actions combined as risky. Regardless you're going to have to call to see what can be done.

This is the second report in 3 days of BofA closing accounts

OP not that this is for the same reason but the other person was told due to new INQ's

Seems we may see more of this from BofA

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

I panicked because i saw other posters saying the same. Just called boa and they appologized and said visa contacted them and my card was compromised and they are sending me a new card and he assured my account is open. Thank god! Panicked!!

You think a bank would contact you if that was the case....

Also read a post yesterday that this happened to someone else. Bank just closed their account due to fraud (barclays I think) and never contacted them about it, and was mailing out a new card.
