I did a bad thing...

I app'd for the Amex PR Gold card because I was wanting an Amex charge card...and I was approved! I know this means that I lasted in the garden the seriously unimpressive time of one week, but I am happy and will never ever app again for another card. Right now I have the BoA, Citi, Discover and bank Visa SD'd and only plan on using the two Chase cards and the three Amex cards. Do you think I should SD the cards I just mentioned or actually ax the cards that I'm not using?

Re: I did a bad thing...

Do they have an AF?  If not, SD them.   Doesn't hurt a thing for them to sit in there and age and at to Util.

Re: I did a bad thing...

well since its amex it will back date and a hard pull that will hurt less over time.

if there is no annual fee there is no reason to axe.

sd them until you need them.

if there is an annual fee and you do axe them they report good for 10 years and by then your other cards will have a great history.
