I told myself I wasn't going to apply for another card but I did it cause I have an app addiction problem! Lol
I applied for the bankamericard cash reward visa signature cause I saw the $100 dollar bonus offer.. Well after applying, it told me I'll get a decision in 30 days in writing unless I called.. Im not a patient person so I called and they asked me about my income and who I currently bank with (I bank with bank of America) my monthly house payment and verified my address then put on hold and she came back telling me how great it is that someone so young has been so responsible with his credit (checked TU, definitely not EQ..) and she approved me for a low but good starting cl of 1000 now I will forever garden

I applied for the same card about 6 months ago and was denied and now I got a compliment and approved lol the last card on my wishlist is the chase freedom then I'll really garden for awhile

Congrats. I also called in and got $600 as a starting limit. Requested $400 CLI eight months later and was approved (online, not instant, hard pull on TU).

Did you guys have a pre-approval/special offer from online banking, or at the branch?

I'm thinking of applying because I was pre-approved at the branch and online banking, but for a Visa Signature. I'm curious if this is something they send everyone.

Also, what is your credit profile?

@swift tone no I didn't get any special offer or preapproval
My Fico TU is 736 I have no baddies at all, 16k annual, in school and a AAoA of 1 year and a month!
My Ex is 702 and my EQ is 652 based on Amex letter.. 525 on fico

Overall I like it. I also opened ebanking account to get extra 10% on the cashback earned from the card. Only thing I don't like it is hard pull for CLI.

You will only get Visa Signature if you get CL of $5K or above. Platinum Visa otherwise.
