Thanks to you all. I'm going to activate the card today and call them to backdate 2008 next day.

Why not take care of it swiftly?    The sooner the better.   Call them tonight.  You can do it while activating it.

I hate to talk to oversea csr after hours:smileysad:.  Most of time, they didn't know what to do. It didn't get resolve. I would like to talk CSR from here.:smileyvery-happy:

Oh yes. My favorite lately with Amex has been talking with a foreign rep with broken English and hearing the beeping in the background that the call is being recorded. In fact almost every time I've had to call I've gotten that. But my hours are odd sometimes. The executive office is another matter but you probably don't wanna call them over this :smileywink:
Actually I'd say it's been 50/50 for me overall with the foreign reps. Never had one back in 2002 when I had my first card.

I'm glad you had good experience with oversea csr.  :smileyvery-happy:   I had experience with HSBC RZMC CSR when I called. They tried to sell you some other stuff like credit protection, credit monitoring instead of helping to resolve the problem.
