I just got approved for an Orchard card, but...

I got to the part where you pay the $19 fee...

I submitted all my checking info for that payment... clicked done

but didn't see a page with my credit limit or anything?

I clicked on "check status"... and now I am seeing this: We are unable to finalize your credit card application. You will be hearing from us within the next 10-14 days. Thank you!

? If I am approved, then I make the payment.. then... what the heck is going on?

I don't know anything about HSBC / Orchard Bank, but according to most of the posters here the order goes:  1) They debit your account for the fee   2) Determine if you are approved (more than likely)   3)  Notify you within the 10 days.  If not approved, you will get your funds back.  I can't confirm if it takes up to 30-days for the refund.
