No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
just sign up for the trial than cancel if you do not like it, remember if you don't cancel they can still bill you because they have your authorization even if it closes its still possible to be billed
More than likely once your card is cancelled and if you try and log in the system, it will give you an error and a tn# to call and if you call cust svc it will probably say something like your access is blocked b/c you don't have an active card to bill it on, or something to that effect..
Umm...Yes, I would expect the transaction to be declined, and yes, theft is still illegal.
....just sayin'....
...and you're probably correct.
However, your stated goal was obtain goods and/or services by KNOWLINGLY providing invalid credit card information. (i.e., to avoid paying for the service...)
That is a definition of theft.
Just something to think about...
This is ridiculous to consider for the moral reasons, but also I think since it would be fraud/theft on the internet makes it a federal crime.
Good Luck with that.
Another thing to consider. Assuming you are able to sign up for something that has a trial period and then they will automatically bill you at the end, and you are able to do so with a card that is no longer valid, I wouldn't expect that it would just go away. I'd expect them to bill you and if you don't pay, perhaps turn it over to collections. This would be a really silly reason to end up with a collection on your report.
