Yes, I'm in the garden...but just signed on the line for my house! So excited about that but here's a question for those that have been in a similar situation. I have burned all the majors in BK in 2012 (AmEx, BoA, Chase, Citi, Discover) and wanted opinions on a possible app spree and what could I get with scores that are in my sig. Util is probably about 20ish percent.

Hey. The only majors I burnt was BoA, and CapOne.
And I paid BoA...They still won't let me in. I know I went a little nuts with my 4 month AOR, but I went by every rule in the book with it.
Stop applying once everything is a denial or has {Edited-MarineVietVet, myFICO moderator} limits. -- In fact, I stopped with my highest instapproval to date. $9,000 on my Ritz-Carlton.

+1 for garden until 2022. You need to make, like, 30 payments on your new mortgage to get that stabilized as a start.
You already have a number of cards. 2012 is your BK? Take it slow. Get the trust of those lenders who have given you CC and this mortgage. It is way too early to go knocking on the doors of all those bears you pinched.
Good luck, and sincerly, congratulations on the mortgage!

That's been my thought but didn't know that 30 months would be considered stable on a mortgage

I just pulled a number out. The main point being, make sure you get the mortgage under control.
With the existing cards you have, you just need to let time improve your score. More CC are not really going to help you much, only time will.

+1,000 on this sound advice. Something I should think about, build scores before more credit.
Some banks you burned might take you back in like 2-10years......so there is still hope if you wanna credit card from major CC's.
I've read stories like people getting back with their ''burned banks'' in no time by good graces (in this forum)......but some aren't that lucky.(can't get back like forever)
YMMV
