@ArisGreek wrote:Yes definitely Otterbox or Lifeproof. They are great cases! A bit expensive as one other poster said but they swear by their product.
+1. Both are very good cases and will keep your screen from shattering when dropped.
And I also agree, the AMEX purchase protection and extended warranty coverage is a great benefit !
Exatly, yesterday i went to purchase som of those GoPro Cameras from best buy. the rep asked for the protection and since they are likely to be dropped i thought about it but then i said wait AMEX has protection and the rep mumbled yes they do..

lol as I read this I can just picture in my head the shady Best Buy guy trying to upsell you their $300 extended warranty
Many MC/Visa cards include extended (or accident) warranties as a benefit too.

You can call me a naysayer if you want .....
Thank you so much for that reference, pipe guy. Unfortunately, I can't find a visa or mc anywhere that will give me a $20,000 CL! You have yours, and I have mine! It's all good! Lol

Those Best Buy employees are soooooo annoying with their warranty sells. They're pushy and their warranties are not helpful. I've used them all of one time. Yet I've bought countless electronics from them. From now on I'll be using my AMEX and just extend the warranty that way.

Can't speak for MC but I've read a few customers who tried to do purchase protection through Visa and said it was nothing but a pain in the ass compared to the American Express purchase protection.
I love my AMEX too. Havent had to use anything yet.
My Citi has a lot of great features too.

Its why I make ALL my purchases with a CC.
Two times Ive been screwed I had paid with my Citicard and both times they credited my card the entire amount and then sent their war hounds after the company who ripped me off.
Had I paid by cash or check I'd have been at the mercy of whomever.
