I just applied a $30 cashback bonus from my discover card onto a $60 purchase off of amazon. Its like money for nothing... I love this! I'm going to make this my primary card...

seems that the $30 was bult up in cashback and could be applied in any amout to amazon purchases...

Yes, Discover is awesome. It's cashback system is very generous. I earned more than $50 last month in cash back. I am saving it, and all the cash back I get from now to August to upgrade my Verizon galaxy nexus to the newest smartphone available. Based on my calculation and spending pattern, I will be able to get the phone upgrade for free, once I applied my cashback as a statement credit.

Cashback is awesome. No need to worry about how to calculate point conversion. It's straightforward cash!

I love my Discover card as well. The cashback you can earn on this card is amazing. Since I got the card a year ago I have easily earned a couple hundred in cashback.

Discover has the nice 5% categories, but the base cashback rate is terrible. 0.25% unless you have IT, then 1%.
