Oh ok thanks. Im not planning in traveling out of the country but i just want a card with a chip just to have it lol

might as well just ask for your current card with a chip then, especially if you like the rewards your current card already has.

Its a student card with no rewards at all so anything its better

Oh, sorry, you can't get a chip for your student card.
