I do love my Platinum American Express card, it has great benefits, and a wonderful limit, but it has a high annual fee of $495. It is well worth it though!

I'm thinking that very very few people has attained an 850. Since we don't know the formula, we cannot know be specifics of what we would need apart from the usual payment history etc etc..

Should be happy having a score over 720...........anything over that is almost a waste. You''ll be getting the best rates.

I would say aim for 760 because anything over that would get you the same prime rates.
