Nice that they changed the card for you guys. I like that little green monster. I'm still kinda undecided on Venture or Cash Rewards. I do better with the Venture obviously but then there's the AF. This card, if I get it, is competing with all my other cards that I use regularly. So, it would only get personal non-bonus category spending, which isn't really a lot when you really think about it....maybe a few hundred on average per month. You're talking clothing stores like Gap, shoe stores, Sams Club, Dollar General, online subscription services, online shopping through Perk Central (or not). I can't really think of much outside all that as something I would do somewhat regularly. And I am not one to find stuff to buy that I wouldn't have bought otherwise just to get rewards. That's just not sensible to me.

You could always do the VentureOne which is 1.25% back, but no AF.
VenutreOne is inferior to the Cash Rewards IMHO.1.25% vs. 1.5% (I can wait for the 50% bonus) and the flexibility to get cash on 1:1 basis. My wife has the VentureOne. I told her not to get it. She was afraid she wouldn't do enough to offset the AF of the Blue Venture....basically about $675+/- per month. She was so wrong. She met the yearly break even point in about 6-7 months or so.
I've had my Cap1 Platinum MC for over four years now, although it has grown from when I originally got it (first CC), I don't regularly use it because of the lack of rewards. I would like to try a similar approach to adding cash rewards to it. I'll probably give it a shot sometime next year, but I do love my custom card design so I don't think I would want the green card.
Best of luck to you, keep us posted on the results, seems like it has been a nightmare many for the PC.

Try just using the "Chat Now" feature. That is how I got my rewards added on. No exec office or anything.
My Jimmy Fallon is in the mail. I called up and requested it, and he told me it was already processed and being sent out

Edit: Apparently one of the most common internet phrases is filtered. Removed the adult version of WTH

The chat option appears above the account details when you first log in. It takes a second longer to pop up than all the other data on the page.
