Ok, I want to app for Chase Freedom sooooo bad!!! I got the Amex Blue Sky the first week of April, pulled my Experian and I had a 707. I just refinanced my car and also got a credit union visa with the same pull. They pulled Equifax and I had a 670. I also realllllly wanna go for the 3X CLI on the Amex!!! So should I go ahead and app for the Freedom or what!? I wanna do it so bad!! This is my last credit app until my house in a couple years so I really wanna make it worth it!!

Don't do it!!

With a lower score you'll get a low limit. Give it some time, let things marinate, and manipulate utilization % so you'll get a better starting limit and save a ton of frustration.

I have the Freedom and really would have chosen some other product if knowing in advance that CLIs required hard pulls. Fortunately, the HP falls off this July. They're a good company and have great customer service but there's a very good chance your limit won't grow with steady use.

IF you go to Chase.com and you check if you are "pre-qualified" for a card and you get an offer then I say DO IT!  If you get no offers, I would sit tight for just a couple months and get your CLI on Amex and THEN go for it!

Yeah. Drkaje has a super good point. Ahhhhh!!!!!! I don't know what to do! I did use creditcards.com and one of the listed cards for me was the freedom and I also use credit karma and its always showing me banners for the freedom. Maybe a coincidence but it boosts my confidence a little bit!
