That's a good question regarding points earned for spending at BBW. I just checked my online account, however as the statement hasn't generated my points haven't updated. Somehow I have the feeling that it prolly won't result in points, but I'm holding out hope!

Last xmas i got that offer pop up while buying a present for my sister but I just cant imagine having a pink card to my name lol. I had a gf that spent 500 weekly on that store and paid it off weekly and her cl never was raised more than 750 and she had it since she was 18 now 23.
It turns into a black card after you get 250 points.....just sayin
Tried the shopping cart trick with VS. Got the message saying I was pre-approved for $1000, submitted the last 4 of my social and DOB. Then it gave me the 7-10 day message.
Statement posted today. I had one VS transaction and one BBW transaction. Only earned points on the VS transaction. So the answer to BBW purchases equalling VS points is no.
And Epcot, sorry to hear that. But hey, they might just need a little more time.

Ty for finding out for me. Christmas is coming I think I may have a reason to get VIP
You are most welcome. I missed your question about how long to get the card, IIRC it took a little over a week to get it.
Will your credit score go unchanged if it's a soft pull only, or will it take a ding from the new card reporting? I'd love a VS card, but we're in mortgage underwriting right now :-p
A soft pull will not negatively affect your score, however, opening a new account will change your average age of accounts and that may cause a drop.

From the pull, no, from the addition of a new account and drop in AAOA, yes, most likely. If they pull your credit again in the mortgage process they will be able to see the new account, which may geek up the process. Underwriters are just looking for an excuse to make your life h*ll . Don't give them one.
Short answer: NO VS CARD (or any card) DURING MORTGAGE!
