I think it's time to bid FP adieu

My oldest account... 4/2011... With only one CLI ever... From 300 to 500 in June.

I think it's time for it to go.

I don't want any future manual reviews to show it open... It makes me feel dirty. And having a card with such a low limit gives lenders more of a reason to give me sad CLs.

Oh, yeah, and that fee. No thanks.

The call is scheduled for tomorrow. Hooray!

R.I.P.

FP

Before you app think...
Have you done your research of the CC?
Does it fit your spending?
Do you have a plan for the bonus w/o going into debt?
Can you afford the AF?
Do you know the cards benefits? Is it worth the HP?

LOL, MJ! Tombstone reads "Served its purpose - but died due to its AF."

Re: I think it's time to bid FP adieu

I can't wait to get rid of my FP card, the only reason I got it was for that "just in case" sense of security because of a bunch of recent travel and a wedding my wife and I financed.  Once I get my auto CLI with Merrick (hopefully in a couple days) I think I'm calling and cancelling FP.

Closing an fp card is probably as satisfying as getting a huge cli! Lmao
