My mother opened BCE last year. If I get added as AU before being approved for this I get to backdate?
I have experian on ice... I'll need to thaw correct? From the small amount of reading I've done this card trumps bce as long as I use points to travel?
I have a lot of cards reporting balances right now and just paid off an auto loan. Going to let these payments report have one card show a balance and give it one final whirl. If they deny me again I'll give up lol
Zyzzus, did you decide to apply?
I will apply once my report updates. I've paid off my 10K auto loan and I am going to have all cards but one report 0 balance.... My mortgage may report by then and its a crap shoot I suppose if thats good or not.
I'd like to believe by now I am a good risk we shall see.
I will bump the thread if you like once I apply should be a little after the first of may once everything updates.

Rush I had assumed that I would get BCE but my current card line-up kills BCE in a cash back stand point.
I have two 2% on everything cards and with me being a single guy Sallie Mae's 5% on groceries is the GOAT card.
To each their own (:

Got a pre-approval in for BCE as well.
I am patiently waiting for my reports to update.
Is it customary to apply for charge card then revolver?
I don't need/want a charge card I just want this everyday card.
Crossing my fingers I have a feeling amex hates me.

I got the same letter with 12.99% APR, except it offers 25,000 points(spend 2k within 3 months). However, I am still deciding between this and BCE. Will apply either one on 6/1 Hopefully I will get approve since I got a mortagage and a car lease last year. 6/1 will make my car lease 1 year..
Nice offer I am jealous!
